Summary
m2r Education are working with this training and development company who provide a range of public services, including employment support, skills training, independent living, prison education. In addition, they are recognised as being one of the Top 25 Education and Training providers to work for.
As a Regional Vocational Cover Tutor, you will work collaboratively with the Prison Education team, to provide cover to small groups of prison-based learners across a range of vocational subjects, having a focus on construction. You will support with the development of skills, knowledge and behaviours while supporting them with their long-term goals and aspirations.
This is a remote based role with daily travel to one of the following prison establishments to provide cover: HMP Leicester, HMP Morton Hall, HMP North Sea Camp, HMP Lincoln, HMP Onley and HMP Whatton, or HMP Wayland, HMP Bedford, HMP Bure, HMP Norwich and HMP Littlehey
Due to regular travel a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
Requirements:
- Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent
- An expert in your field with substantial experience
- Experience of delivering training
- A teaching or assessing qualification is desirable
- Ability to display a wide range of training methods to engage learners along with flexibility to deliver qualifications across a variety of subjects
- Knowledge and understanding of policies and procedures relating to Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity, Health and Safety and Data Protection of all learners.
