m2r Education are working with this  international school in Luxembourg. They need a Teacher of Science - Chemistry Specialist to start ASAP.

The school is an inclusive international community of over 860 students aged from 3 to 18 years, representing over 60 different nationalities. Student outcomes have improved year on year, with students last year achieving 93% A*- C at iGCSE (58% at grade A*/A), 100% at A2 (70% at grade A*/A) and 98% at AS (66% at grade A/B).

They require a dynamic and outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record of success, a detailed knowledge and understanding of the British educational system, a passion for their subject and a commitment to ensuring the very best outcomes 

Minimum criteria to apply:

  • Bachelor degree
  • Teaching Qualification - essential
  • A proven record of good/outstanding teaching
  • Able to teach Science at KS3 and Chemistry at KS4/5
  • Experience of teaching the English National Curriculum for England and Wales
  • Willingnesss to support an extensive extra-curricular programme is essential
  • Experience from an international school is an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of subject content and pedagogy
  • High expectations and aspirations for all children
  • The ability to use digital applications to enhance teaching and learning
  • Committed to the overall development of young people


  • Salary, dependent upon experience, from €49,640 gross per annum. Tax and other deductions vary depending on your personal situation
  • Luncheon vouchers are provided.
  • Travel expenses at beginning of contract
  • Removal expenses
  • Provide temporary accomodation for 1 month whilst looking for accomodation
  • Tuition fees for children
