Summary
m2r Education are pleased to be working with this accredited British international school based in Amman, Jordan. They require a Head of PE for an Aug '24 SD
The school boasts a student body of 35 nationalities and pre-IGCSE programme is based on the National Curriculum for England and Wales and provides the foundation for AS and A-Level studies.
Your role as Head of PE will be to support an existing team of 6 PE Teachers as well as providing tuition yourself. The current sports facilities include:
- A football pitch with 1200 seat capacity stadium
- 2 indoor swimming pools
- 3 basketball courts
- A multipurpose hall for gymnastics, jiu jitsu, volleyball, ballet and other activities
Requirements:
- Native speaker of English
- Qualified Teacher Status + additional sports related qualifications
- Bachelor Degree (ideally subject related)
- Experience of teaching in the Middle East would be a great advantage
- Teachers should have at least 2 years’ of relevant teaching experience post qualification.
