Summary
m2r Education are seeking a qualified IGCSE and IB Chemistry Teacher for a CIS accredited international British school in Ecuador.
This is Ecuador's only British International School where the English National Curriculum is taught with strong links to the local language and culture. They are an IB World School, accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools. They are also licensed and accredited by the Ecuadorian Ministry of Education.
Start date between August 2023 and January 2024 depending upon candidate availability.
Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor's Degree with PGCE / QTS or Bachelor of Education (from a reputable UK University)
- UK Qualified Teacher Status is essential.
- Experience of teaching Chemistry across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 age and ability range with a special emphasis on iGCSE / A Level and preferably IB Diploma experience
- Recent experience as a teacher in the UK or British curriculum school
- Experience of teaching an international student body is desirable
- 1st Language English
