Works Manager – Steel Cladding

We are currently looking for a Works Manager with strong experience in the cladding and fabrication of pressure vessels and oil & gas pipework for a major company in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

Requirements for the role:
• A Bachelors degree in a technical discipline is essential.
• An MBA or a Masters in Engineering is desirable as well as a through working knowledge of manufacturing finance.
• Cladding and welding overlay experience in hot wire GTAW, Sub-Arc and Electroslag welding processes.
• Experience in running or holding a similar responsible position in similar cladding / overlay operations will be a significant plus.
• Welding & Fabrication background and experience in Pressure Vessel, Piping Systems per ASME, API Designs with understanding of the QA processes.
• Project Management skills for operating a detailed oriented production requirement of Cladding / Overlay operations.
• Excellent communication skills oral & written with the ability to make presentation to client on technologies involved.
• Successful negotiation strategies to ensure proper product pricing, profitability and ability to meet customer requirements.
• Ability to review operating plans, programs, capital and expenses budgets submitted by plant operations.

Salary is dependent upon qualifications and number of years of experience. Full expatriate benefits are offered also.
